NOTICE:
Please log in to the site and select Membership Card to see the current gate code.

We're a non-profit, family friendly, self-service gun club. The Chief Ouray Gun Club is maintained and funded by membership fees and donations. It is incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the State of Colorado and is an IRC 509(a)(2) public charity and is tax exempt under IRC 501(c)(3). Since Chief Ouray Gun Club's inception, it has been managed, enhanced, and maintained by a 100%-volunteer group of dedicated members.

The shooting sports have been around Ouray County for as long as, well, as long as Ouray has been around. The club’s archives contain photos of competitive and pleasure shooters dating back to the early 1900s. However, Chief Ouray Gun Club wasn’t officially formed and named until decades later, in 1955.

Chief Ouray Gun Club is made up of Ouray County's year-round and seasonal shooters as well as others from outside the area who simply like to shoot at our picturesque range. Chief Ouray Gun Club has been a proud member of the NRA since the club's inception in 1955 and staunchly supports local law enforcement agencies by providing discounted membership and range lanes for training.

Our humble club and range is pleased to offer something for almost everyone and for most shooting sports. Rifles, shotguns, handguns, and archery are all welcome at the Chief Ouray Gun Club range.

We invite you to join us as a member and look forward to a long relationship with you, your friends, and your family.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
